Shirdi is a small town in the Indian state of Maharashtra, located about 190 km east of Mumbai.

It is most famous as the home of the revered saint, Shirdi Sai Baba.
Sai Baba arrived in Shirdi in the mid-19th century and lived there until his death in 1918.
He was known for his teachings on love, peace, and unity, and attracted devotees from all over India and beyond.
After his death, the shrine that was built around his tomb became a major pilgrimage site and continues to be so to this day.
Apart from the Sai Baba shrine, there are several other places of interest for tourists in Shirdi.
Some of these include: Dwarkamai Masjid: This is a mosque where Sai Baba spent a lot of time and which was an important center of his activities.
Chavadi: This is a small building where Sai Baba used to sleep alternate nights.
Khandoba Temple: This temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Khandoba and was visited by Sai Baba regularly.
Shani Shingnapur: This is a nearby village that is famous for its temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shani.
Wet N Joy Water Park: This is a popular water park in Shirdi that is a great place to visit with family and friends.
Shirdi is easily accessible by road, rail, and air.
The nearest airport is Aurangabad, which is about 130 km away.
The town is also well-connected by rail and bus to major cities in Maharashtra and other parts of India.
Overall, Shirdi is a popular destination for pilgrims and tourists alike and is well worth a visit for anyone interested in the life and teachings of Sai Baba.
